COVID19-113 – April 12, 2023 |
Dear Patients: |
This uplifting song, Hold
On, by the pop group, Wilson Phillips, is perfect
for motivating one to look at their life and make changes.
This week, with both Passover and Easter, celebrates spring,
a time for appreciating the change from winter to warmth,
sunlight, blooming and optimism. The Wilson Phillips group
was formed in 1989 and consists of Carnie and Wendy Wilson
as well as Chynna Phillips. Carnie and Wendy are the
daughters of the Beach Boy, Brian Wilson, and Chynna is the
daughter of John and Michelle Phillips of the Mamas & the
Papas. Carnie and Chynna struggled with alcohol and 'held
on' to make their respective changes.
I want to help you make changes in your life. I love this
quote, the time is now, before the storm. |

On a musical note:
Trust me, listen to Little Voice - you will enjoy it. It's
the theme song to a miniseries I recently watched on Apple
TV+ with the same title. The link is an interview with the
songwriter followed by the song. |

As a reminder, I'm no longer sending out daily updates and instead, I'm updating you
periodically. I continue to enjoy writing these updates.
Initially, these were only sent to my patients, however,
I've been humbled to learn that, through social media, these
writings have been forwarded and re-forwarded to many. This
has brought me great joy to know that this simple act of
sharing facts, thoughts, opinions, and hopes has touched you
in some way. Hopefully I've been able to reassure you, maybe
make you smile and laugh, soothe your worries, and comfort
you. And maybe, just maybe, I've helped you to be in the
moment! |
Reach out. Stay connected. Stay home. Save lives. The power
of one. Be well.
Feel free to forward this on: spread the word, not the
virus.
